Discover the Amazing Weight loss & Health Benefits of Red Tea

By Elizabeth (Liz) Swann Miller A common mistake made by many dieters is not taking into account what they drink. The truth is the fluids you consume can have just as big an impact on your waistline – and your health – as the foods you eat. Of course, that means for dieters who are serious about losing weight - no more soda and no more alcohol … But what about green tea and black tea? Are these teas good for you – or could they actually cause you to gain unwanted weight? The answer may surprise you. You see, most people think green tea, in particular, can help you lose weight not gain it … But that may not necessarily be the case. Several studies have shown that green tea does not affect weight loss. For example, a study published in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition in 2009 found that green tea extract did not affect the resting metabolic rate of 12 normal weight men. Meanwhile, a Cochrane Review of green tea research found that green tea l...

More recently, red tea has been recognised as their equal, if not superior. And here’s why – red tea shrinks fat cells. Rooibos, is a red bush from South Africa. The leaves are used once fermented in the tea’s production, and they offer a range of benefits. My recipe, as featured in the Red Tea Detox , combines rooibos with a specific blend, working...

Can Drinking Tea (of All Things) Really Help You Lose Weight?

By Elizabeth (Liz) Swann Miller There I was standing in the wilds of Africa with a massive, red, venomous snake looking right at me and a single thought racing through my mind –“why in the world did I risk my life for this cup of tea?” The truth is I was looking for what I considered to be the weight loss “holy grail” - a tea that legend claimed completely erased hunger pangs. The story so intrigued me that I decided to leave the comfort of my home in the US and venture into a remote area of Africa populated by a Kenyan tribe to find out if the tales about this ‘voodoo tea’ were true. What I discovered changed my life, in that it has allowed me to lose 41 pounds of unwanted fat. That’s right, not only did the tea really exist (and it’s definitely not ‘voodoo’) but it turned out to be even better than the stories let on. You see, not only does the tea get rid of hunger pangs; it also activates your body’s natural ability to burn fat. On top of all that, it also boosts your ...

THE POWER OF LATE-NIGHT SNACKING

by LIZ SWANN MILLER | OCTOBER 26, 2017 You’re staring at your computer screen with weary eyes. Dinner has come and gone, but that oh-so-familiar beast we call Hunger has reeled its damn head again. But you can’t snack after eight o’clock, right? That’s weight loss rule number one. Or is it? I’m about to share with you some helpful truths for a situation of this kind. There’s an ironic flipside to my mostly honorable label of ‘Liz Swann Miller – Weight Loss Expert’. I must strictly resign myself to the continuous expectation the general public attributes to the title – that I have it together. Liz would never gain excessive amounts of weight. Liz would never give in to that looming golden M on the highway. Liz doesn’t snack late at night. How does Liz do it? Let me tell you a secret. Liz struggles. Liz feels the exact temptations you feel, and resists the exact pulls you resist. As this ‘Weight Loss Expert’, I often need to remind myself not only to pursue a healt...

Why Your Body Needs Detox?

The Danger Of  Toxins In Our Body In this post, I am going to be sharing with you about one shocking finding as revealed in a prestigious medical journal, Lancet which recently proved that environmental toxins do indeed make people fat and can cause people to get diabetes [ref: Jones OA, et al (2008). Environmental pollution and diabetes: a neglected association. Lancet. 26;371(9609):287-8.]. The studies explained that, there inside our body, these environmental toxins unleash cascade of dangerous events that can disrupt our body ability to effectively balance the blood sugar level and metabolism. These environmental toxins also destroy the delicate balance of bacteria that present in our gut. These toxins also influence the genes whithin our fat tissue which allow them to create new fat cells. As this process goes on, the new fat cells then fill up with more fat and toxins leading directly to a greater risk of causing us to getting diabetes type 2. These toxins also pose a ...

How Do I Recondition A Car Battery?

By Reece Chan https://www.quora.com/ There is a common misunderstanding among many people in regards to recharging and reconditioning for being identical. The truth is that recharging a battery will only give it a charge for a period. However, battery reconditioning involves restoring the battery to its full capacity. Reconditioning batteries is a very simple procedure, and any person can do it perfectly. Just imagine how much money everyone can save by learning how to recondition batteries. Video guide: How to Recondition a Car Battery at Home Weve all noticed it, whether we got our devices when they were new, or from some guy on craigslist, every year the battery life seems to get shorter and shorter. Over time, through the repeated charging and discharging cycles we subject our devices to, these batteries lose their ability to store electrons. This explains why a MacBook you purchased 4 years ago may only last half as long as it used to on battery power, and why when w...

What did you do to lose your weight?

by Jenny Zhou, Volunteer at Dog Shelters www.quora.com I was never chubby or unhealthy but I know that losing weight, personally, is very difficult. My body is skinny-curvy and, while I’d love to be far thinner, that is not how my body was made. I think you ought to know that I don’t exercise. I mean, I walk up and down stairs at school and horseback ride and sometimes surf, but I don’t do cardio. I rarely go to the gym. So what I focus on is my eating habit instead and it helps for me. So the first thing I keep reminding myself is that it’s OK to have “cheat days” — I kinda do what Taylor Swift does… eating healthy during the weekday and going for junk on weekends (to stay sane). I eat quite healthy during the weekday and have an occasional cookie here and there. Protein for breakfast, lighter lunch, and a ‘lil lighter dinner. And I drink LOTS of water to also keep my skin healthy. I also try eating less — not “starving” myself to eating only one slice of ham but, rather,...

Why is there no definite cure for Type 2 diabetes?

by John Titor, B.S. Computer Science & Psychology, University of California, Los Angeles (2017) Type 2 diabetes is a serious, long-term medical condition. It develops mostly in adults but is becoming more common in children as obesity rates rise across all age groups. Several factors contribute to type 2 diabetes. Being overweight or obese is the biggest risk factor. Type 2 diabetes can be life-threatening. But if treated carefully, it can be managed or even reversed. Your pancreas makes a hormone called insulin. When your blood sugar (glucose) levels rise, the pancreas releases insulin. This causes sugar to move from your blood to your cells, where it can be used as an energy source. As glucose levels in your blood go back down, your pancreas stops releasing insulin. Type 2 diabetes impacts how you metabolize sugar. Either your pancreas doesn’t produce enough insulin or your body has become resistant to its effects. This causes glucose to build up in the blood. This is ...

WHY RED TEA IS BETTER THAN GREEN TEA

by LIZ SWANN MILLER | OCTOBER 26, 2017 Green tea has long been acknowledged for its health and wellness benefits, including weight loss assistance. The evidence is irrefutable. But are we overlooking something better? It is true that green tea contains powerful antioxidants. These components contribute to minimizing health risks such as cancer and cardiovascular disease. As a Weight Loss Expert, it has been my primary goal to share practical tips and tricks for those pursuing optimal health. In upholding my obligation to transparency, I am about to reveal how green tea, although beneficial, is gradually losing value in the light of its delicious rival – rooibos. Rooibos, also known as red tea, is equally high in antioxidants, however sourced from different substances to that of green tea. The antioxidants contained in rooibos – aspalathin and nothofagin – are comparatively rare, and help to regulate blood sugar, reduce excessive fat production, stress, and inhibit metabolic dis...
