The only way to change the direction of rotation of a 3-phase (induction) motor is to change the incoming phase sequence. This can be done by swapping any two of the incoming three-phase lines.
If you are sure you haven’t done this, either at the input or output of the starter, or at the motor terminal box, then it may be that someone else has done this upstream.
Has anyone done any work on an upstream switchboard? Has someone been changing or upgrading any wiring? Are there any other three-phase loads that are behaving differently? It may be that they have reconnected your circuit with transposed lines.
So if it is important for you to find out, it is time for some detective work!
