Cold traffic simply means visitors or people who visit your website and they don't know you. Warm traffic is advertising to people who do know you. Obviously, cold traffic is a harder sell.

So in order to make money, your website need to build a relationship with your readers, so they will trust your recommendations. So how? In order to avoid this you want to send 3 to 4 soft-sell emails first before you can send 1 to 2 hard-sell emails. This way, you are good to go to build a relationship. Soft-sell emails are basically high-quality articles that you can email directly to your email list, with a brief product recommendation, but put your recommendation at the start and at the end of your email, no more. Otherwise your email will become more like a spam.
