Facebook Is Down

Facebook is experiencing total blackout right now. User from US, Canada, UK, Asia and Australia are reporting on Twitter that they are unable to load or login to their account. We are yet to hear any official from Facebook yet at this moment.



At the time this article was written, the Facebook www.facebook.com is still unable to load. I am trying to search the net to see if there is a live statement coming up from Facebook guys, but to no avail. Everyone is wondering what happened. It is unbelievable this total blackout can happen to giant IT corporation where there are many experts are being hired.

Today is the first ever I see Facebook going down for such a long period, probably 2 hours already. I am also trying to peek into some business news just to see how the share price will react to it.

From other news site: Facebook was down for many users on Tuesday, with problems on the social media giant spiking, according to the website status-tracking page Downdetector.
There were thousands of reports of problems starting Tuesday morning about 10 a.m. ET. They came from across the nation, Europe and South America, according to Downdetector's map.

It wasn't immediately clear what was causing the issue or when it would be resolved.
Facebook's troubleshooting dashboard said the platform was healthy, but a company that links to Facebook's back-end in order to let companies post to social media, SocialFLow, said there was a problem in a tweet before noon.
