Psoas Muscle

Here we are going to learn about the body's most powerful primal muscle. You probably have not heard of this before. Our hips play a very important role in the center of our body movements, acting like a bridge between our upper body and lower body.

Withing the well of our hips and lower spine is the psoas major muscle. This is one of the two muscles that make up the ilipsoas. This muscle is also often known as the mighty psoas because of the many important functions it plays in the movement of our body. Psoas muscle is the only muscle in human body that connects the upper body to the lower body.

Psoas muscle attaches to the lower spine vertebrae, it moves through the pelvis which then connects to a tendon at the top of the femur bone. This psoas muscle also attaches itself to our diaphragm right above it, which means it is also connected to our breathing mechanism, and all the major organs sit upon it. Psoas muscle creates neutral pelvic alignment. It also stabilizes the hips, provide support to the lower spine and lower abdomen. Most of all, psoas muscle work with the hips to give us greater mobility and core strength.

When psoas muscle is in it normal condition, it has the power to help us achieve our body peak performance day after day, rapidly melting down body stubborn fat, flood our mind and body with renewed energy anf vigor, regain our strenght faster and our boost sexual health. Simply put, psoas muscle plays a very important role at the core of our body activities. So when this muscle goes out of balance, or when the psoas muscle tighten up, our body will face serious consequences which flow throughout the body and create all kind of soreness.

There is one particular activity that is making our body weaker, fatter and this same activity is killing our sex life. Even though this activity could be the most harmless activity we have ever known, but it is also one of the biggest treat to our health. That activity is...SITTING.

Even if you are the most active person, you will still from from a tight psoas due to the amount of time you spend every single day planted yourself to a chair. Symptoms like weakness, shortening and tightness can develops in the psoas muscle through sitting for an extended periods of time.

Why is Uber pulling out of Southeast Asia?

Uber is pulling out of Southeast Asia because Grab is both better funded, better managed, and better localized in the region. Grab was founded in 2012 by Anthony Tan and Tan Hooi Ling. The company is based in Singapore and it offers ride-hailing services in most Southeast Asian countries, serving 168 cities in that area. As of November 2017, Grab claims to have over 2 million drivers, 3.5 million daily rides, and more than 68 million downloads. In the past 6 years, Grab has become the main player in the region despite the major influence and recognition of Uber for three main reasons: money, management, and localization. In the deal to sell its branch in Southeast Asia, Uber will receive a 27.5% stake in Grab–worth $1.6 billion–and Uber’s CEO, Dara Khosrowshahi, will become part of Grab’s board of executives. Grab will assimilate Uber’s business in the region as well as subsidiary UberEats. Uber has previously withdrawn from regions in which it had tried to expand as a resul

Diabetes: Look after your teeth to look after your blood glucose

Researchers say that people with type 2 diabetes may improve their blood glucose levels by looking after their teeth. A new study highlights the importance of oral hygiene for people with type 2 diabetes, after finding that those with the condition may have better blood glucose levels if they look after their teeth. It is estimated that around 30.3 million people in the United States are living with diabetes. Type 2 diabetes is the most common form, and it accounts for 90–95 percent of all cases. Type 2 diabetes develops when the body's cells stop responding to the hormone insulin. This is a process known as insulin resistance. Blood glucose levels become too high as a result. Without effective management of blood glucose levels, a number of serious complications may arise, including nerve damage, or neuropathy, eye problems such as glaucoma and cataracts, and skin conditions. Previous research has also shown that there is a two-way link between type 2 diabetes and g
