How to Place Your Banners Like the Pros Do

Where you place your banners is crucial. Refer below to figure out the best banner placements. I have numbered each spot in order of importance:
  1. Place either a 336x280 banner or a 300x250 banner (the bigger the better) in the top-left corner of the main content area of your website.
  2. Place a 728x90 banner along the top of your website, to the right of your logo.
  3. Place a 336x280 or a 300x250 banner (the bigger the better) in the top of your right sidebar.*
  4. Place a 160x600 banner immediately below it.
You don't need to use them all, but you should try to utilize as many of these spots as you can.
*Remember: if you have a newsletter opt-in form in the sidebar, place it above the banners. It is more important to build subscribers to your website.
